Robyn is the oldest of five children. She was the first in her family to attend the University of Mississippi, and all four of her younger siblings followed her to Oxford. At Ole Miss, Robyn met and later married her best friend, Rhea Tannehill. They have been married and called Oxford their home for 28 years. Rhea is the managing partner of Tannehill, Carmean & McKenzie, PLLC, a local law firm, the Municipal Court Judge of Sardis, Mississippi, and a 29 year veteran of the Mississippi Army National Guard. He retired this year as a Lieutenant Colonel. They have three children, Maggie (21) who attends Mississippi State University, and Jack (18) and Molly Catherine (16) who attend Oxford High School.
