Robyn is the oldest of five children. She was the first in her family to attend the University of Mississippi, and all four of her younger siblings followed her to Oxford. At Ole Miss, Robyn met and later married her best friend, Rhea Tannehill. They have been married and called Oxford their home for 32 years. Rhea is the managing partner of Tannehill Carmean, PLLC, a local law firm, the Municipal Court Judge of Sardis, Mississippi, and a 29 year veteran of the Mississippi Army National Guard. He retired in 2021 as a Lieutenant Colonel. They have three children, Maggie (25) who works for CASA – Court Appointed Special Advocates for children in foster care, and Jack (22) who graduated from University of Southern Mississippi in December 2024 and Molly Catherine (20) who is a junior at Mississippi State University.
